This tool is used to create cartoons. These cartoons are then compiled to form a comic story or any animation. Toondoo can also be used to make a book. They showed us by giving examples of books made by other people on the site. They described the tool well step by step. Mr. S C Joshi, our teacher was very happy with the presentation and the research done by them .At the end, sir asked the students for suggestions and compliments. The suggestion given to them was that they could have used more examples of tools in their presentation

They demonstrated step by step how to go to Pizap site created an account and explained the tool. They told the students that the tool can be used to edit photos online with a variety of tools and dialogue bubbles. They had researched well on the topic and also had prepared a script. They received a compliment that they have researched well and they have given lots of informations on their tool. They were surprised by a question that Adobe Photoshop also does the work of Pizap and without internet so what is the difference between them. They gave the answer that in Pizap one can use dialogue bubble or smiley or templates but in Photoshop one can not use them.

ICT leadership program enters next phase: Documenting every ICT event to be a regular feature

July 5, 2013

Today was the first class after the long and relaxing summer holidays. It was very nice to all the students very bright and cheerful. It was a fascinating moment to know about lots of advancements that are going to be implemented in the program in future. Students of ICT leadership program will write the inputs, edit and design their experience in the form of structured layout along with activity photographs.
It was encouraging to see that the students were taking their tasks very seriously as this was the first ICT program and will help making all of us proud. Before the summer vacations ICT leadership program students were introduced and given (as their projects for summer break) two tech tools to exploit and develop projects/ presentations for other students of the school.
In continuation of this, today students presented the tech tool:
1) The first presentation was done by Kushal and Sushant using the tool “Toon Doo”. They explained that this tool is used to create comics and animations. The topic of their presentation was “Banana falling” in which a bear walking on a path slips on a banana and falls down.
2) The second presentation was by Karan and Rachit using the tool “Quizlet”. They explained that this tool was discovered in 2007 by Andrew Southernland and is used to create sets of questions in various forms such as Test, Speller and Scatter (match the following). They made interesting quizzes on topic “Computers” and conducted it with the students.
Mr Joshi, mentor ICT leadership program appreciating the work and gave new ideas and inputs to further improve the presentations. The ICT leadership students are now all set to take up new tasks, challenges and document all ICT activities to further share the digital knowledge with fellow students.
